# EmailBison: Send Sequence Step Test Email

> Send a test email from an EmailBison sequence step to an address you choose. Includes SDK V2 examples, input constraints, response fields, and Deepline cost.

Send a test email from an EmailBison sequence step to an address you choose.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Tool ID: `emailbison_send_sequence_step_test_email`

## Run this action

Use the TypeScript SDK for one call. Use `ctx.tools.execute(...)` inside a Play for durable calls, scheduled calls, or CSV processing.

```ts theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
import { Deepline } from 'deepline';
const deepline = await Deepline.connect();
const result = await deepline.tools.execute(
  'emailbison_send_sequence_step_test_email',
  {
    "sequence_step_id": 123,
    "sender_email_id": 123,
    "to_email": "jane.doe@example.com"
  },
);
console.log(result.toolResponse.raw);
```

### CLI

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute emailbison_send_sequence_step_test_email --input '{
  "sequence_step_id": 123,
  "sender_email_id": 123,
  "to_email": "jane.doe@example.com"
}' --json
```

## Example response

The SDK returns this shape at `result.toolResponse.raw`. The example values illustrate the response.

```json theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
{
  "data": {
    "data": {
      "success": true,
      "message": "Example message"
    }
  }
}
```

Use `deepline describe emailbison_send_sequence_step_test_email --json` for the latest machine-readable contract.
