# Intercom: Delete Company

> Archive a company in Intercom and detach its contacts. Includes SDK V2 guidance, input constraints, response fields, and Deepline credit cost.

Archive a company in Intercom and detach its contacts.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Tool ID: `intercom_delete_company`

## Run this action

Use the TypeScript SDK for one call. Use `ctx.tools.execute(...)` inside a Play for durable calls, scheduled calls, or CSV processing.

```ts theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
import { Deepline } from 'deepline';
const deepline = await Deepline.connect();
const result = await deepline.tools.execute(
  'intercom_delete_company',
  {
    "company_id": "company_123"
  },
);
console.log(result.toolResponse.raw);
```

### CLI

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute intercom_delete_company --input '{
  "company_id": "company_123"
}' --json
```

## Example response

The SDK returns this shape at `result.toolResponse.raw`. The example values illustrate the response.

```json theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
{
  "data": {
    "id": "id_123",
    "object": "company",
    "deleted": true
  }
}
```

Use `deepline describe intercom_delete_company --json` for the latest machine-readable contract.

## Input reference

Delete a single company. This endpoint does not permanently remove the company. It archives the company record and detaches any contacts attached to it. The contacts themselves are not deleted. A `company.deleted` webhook is sent once archival completes. The endpoint returns `200` with `"deleted": true` as soon as the request is accepted — archival is processed asynchronously. Third-party integrations that sync companies into Intercom (for example, Salesforce or Chargebee) will recreate any company deleted through this endpoint on their next sync. To prevent recreation, remove or filter the company at the source integration before deleting it via the API.

| Name | Type | Required | Default | Details |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `payload.company_id` | `string` | Yes | — | The unique identifier for the company which is given by Intercom |
