# Limadata: Find Phone

> Find phone numbers from a LinkedIn URL, or from name plus company. Includes SDK V2 guidance, input constraints, response fields, and Deepline credit cost.

Find phone numbers from a LinkedIn URL, or from name plus company.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Tool ID: `limadata_find_phone`

## Run this action

Use the TypeScript SDK for one call. Use `ctx.tools.execute(...)` inside a Play for durable calls, scheduled calls, or CSV processing.

```ts theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
import { Deepline } from 'deepline';
const deepline = await Deepline.connect();
const result = await deepline.tools.execute(
  'limadata_find_phone',
  {
    "linkedin_url": "https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe",
    "name": "Example",
    "company_name": "Example Corp"
  },
);
console.log(result.toolResponse.raw);
```

### CLI

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute limadata_find_phone --input '{
  "linkedin_url": "https://www.linkedin.com/in/jane-doe",
  "name": "Example",
  "company_name": "Example Corp"
}' --json
```

## Example response

The SDK returns this shape at `result.toolResponse.raw`. The example values illustrate the response.

```json theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
{
  "data": {
    "phone_numbers": [
      {
        "number": "example",
        "type": "example"
      }
    ]
  }
}
```

Use `deepline describe limadata_find_phone --json` for the latest machine-readable contract.

## Input reference

Find phone numbers from a LinkedIn profile. If no phone number is found, we return a 404 response. We have a comprehensive database of phone numbers. If it's not found there, we waterfall through other sources to find the phone number. #### Input Options Choose one of the following methods to identify the person: ##### Option 1: LinkedIn URL Provide the person's LinkedIn profile URL directly. - **linkedin\_url** (required): e.g., `https://linkedin.com/in/johndoe` ##### Option 2: Name + Company Find a person by their name and current company. - **name** (required): e.g., `John Doe` - **company\_name** and/or **company\_domain** (at least one required): e.g., `Microsoft` or `microsoft.com` - Only charged when phone numbers are found - Returns all discovered numbers - Even if multiple are found, we only charge once per person #### Rate limit This endpoint is exempt from the global rate limit See the live schema below for the complete notes.
