# Salesloft: External Configurations Create

> Create an external ID type in Salesloft for mapping people, users, accounts or opportunities to another system. Includes SDK V2 examples, schemas, and cost.

Create an external ID type in Salesloft for mapping people, users, accounts or opportunities to another system.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Tool ID: `salesloft_external_configurations_create`

## Run this action

Use the TypeScript SDK for one call. Use `ctx.tools.execute(...)` inside a Play for durable calls, scheduled calls, or CSV processing.

```ts theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
import { Deepline } from 'deepline';
const deepline = await Deepline.connect();
const result = await deepline.tools.execute(
  'salesloft_external_configurations_create',
  {
    "object_type": "example",
    "external_type": "example"
  },
);
console.log(result.toolResponse.raw);
```

### CLI

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute salesloft_external_configurations_create --input '{
  "object_type": "example",
  "external_type": "example"
}' --json
```

## Example response

The SDK returns this shape at `result.toolResponse.raw`. The example values illustrate the response.

```json theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
{
  "data": {
    "source_type": "example",
    "source_id": 123,
    "object_type": "example"
  }
}
```

Use `deepline describe salesloft_external_configurations_create --json` for the latest machine-readable contract.
