# Salesloft: Third Party Live Feed Items Create

> Post an item to a Salesloft user's live feed about a person or account. Includes SDK V2 guidance, input constraints, response fields, and Deepline credit cost.

Post an item to a Salesloft user's live feed about a person or account.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Tool ID: `salesloft_third_party_live_feed_items_create`

## Run this action

Use the TypeScript SDK for one call. Use `ctx.tools.execute(...)` inside a Play for durable calls, scheduled calls, or CSV processing.

```ts theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
import { Deepline } from 'deepline';
const deepline = await Deepline.connect();
const result = await deepline.tools.execute(
  'salesloft_third_party_live_feed_items_create',
  {
    "user_guid": "user_123",
    "subject_type": "example",
    "subject_id": 123,
    "message": "Example message",
    "idempotency_key": "example",
    "event_occurred_at": "2026-01-15T12:00:00Z"
  },
);
console.log(result.toolResponse.raw);
```

### CLI

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute salesloft_third_party_live_feed_items_create --input '{
  "user_guid": "user_123",
  "subject_type": "example",
  "subject_id": 123,
  "message": "Example message",
  "idempotency_key": "example",
  "event_occurred_at": "2026-01-15T12:00:00Z"
}' --json
```

## Example response

The SDK returns this shape at `result.toolResponse.raw`. The example values illustrate the response.

```json theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
{
  "data": [
    {
      "user_guid": "user_123",
      "title": "VP of Engineering",
      "rollup_key": "example"
    }
  ]
}
```

Use `deepline describe salesloft_third_party_live_feed_items_create --json` for the latest machine-readable contract.

## Input reference

Creates a live feed item that can be sent to users. May only be used by whitelisted Frontend Integrations with notifications:write, people:read, and accounts:read scopes. Reference the Salesloft App Directory and Frontend Integrations sections for additional details.

| Name | Type | Required | Default | Details |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `payload.user_guid` | `string` | Yes | — | The guid for the user that this live feed item should be shown to. |
| `payload.subject_type` | `string` | Yes | — | The type of the subject of the live feed item. |
| `payload.subject_id` | `integer` | Yes | — | The ID of the subject of the live feed item (i.e. the "person" id). |
| `payload.message` | `string` | Yes | — | The message that relates to the subject. This message should start with a lower-case past-tense verb and end with a period (e.g. "received a package."). When live feed items are displayed to users, the subject's name is concatenated with the message and a joining space. Only HTML tags with an "href" attribute are allowed. Other attributes and tags will be stripped. |
| `payload.idempotency_key` | `string` | Yes | — | Uniquely provided string specific to this event. This should be a value which can't be duplicated between external systems, meaning that an id is not sufficient. |
| `payload.event_occurred_at` | `string` | Yes | — | The iso8601 time the item was created. Provide this to account for any latency |
