# WizLeads: Abort Task

> Stop a queued or running scraping or email task by its task ID, keeping the results gathered so far. Includes SDK V2 examples, schemas, and cost.

Stop a queued or running scraping or email task by its task ID, keeping the results gathered so far.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Tool ID: `wizleads_abort_task`

## Run this action

Use the TypeScript SDK for one call. Use `ctx.tools.execute(...)` inside a Play for durable calls, scheduled calls, or CSV processing.

```ts theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
import { Deepline } from 'deepline';
const deepline = await Deepline.connect();
const result = await deepline.tools.execute(
  'wizleads_abort_task',
  {
    "task_id": "task_123"
  },
);
console.log(result.toolResponse.raw);
```

### CLI

```bash theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
deepline tools execute wizleads_abort_task --input '{
  "task_id": "task_123"
}' --json
```

## Example response

The SDK returns this shape at `result.toolResponse.raw`. The example values illustrate the response.

```json theme={"languages":{"custom":["/languages/deepline-prompt.json"]}}
{
  "data": {
    "message": "Example message"
  }
}
```

Use `deepline describe wizleads_abort_task --json` for the latest machine-readable contract.

## Input reference

Only tasks with status "Queued" or "In Progress" can be aborted. Status immediately changes to "Aborting" and then "Aborted" after few seconds. Results scraped till time of abort are available to download.
